This book really grabbed my attention and kept me captivated from beginning to end. I picked up the book expecting a fast, violent read that would send my mind on a guilty road trip, like an old school action movie. But, what I got was so much more. Not a big fan of romance or modern day erotic fiction, this story paints each seamlessly into the plot in such a way as to be enjoyed by all. Jason has created an immersive experience where you feel the rush of anger, the joy of pleasure, the passion for a loved one, and the heart pounding excitement of a frantic chase to the end. I enjoyed how the story seemed to integrate so many great driving factors into a tightly woven thriller that rivals many more accomplished authors' works.

This book has it all- twists, turns, suspense, romance and excellent character development. Jason's descriptive writing style put the reader in the middle of the action. I can't wait to read his next book!
I picked up this book to check out a new author and am glad that I did! It really grabbed my attention with the right amount of suspense and thrills. If you like spicy suspense thrillers, this is the book for you. I look forward to more!
This was an amazing book that kept me on the edge of my seat with each page. It grabbed my attention immediately and I just couldn't put it down. Intriguing, violent, and oh so sexy! This book has a little of something for every book lover. I can't wait to find out what happens next!
Very good story by new author. I normally don't take a chance on brand new authors but I'm glad I did with this one. The story focuses on retired detective Mike Thomas. Mike is asked to help someone from his past to take down a corrupt police man. The story was a great suspense with just the right amount of romance and spiciness that I enjoy. Glad a took a chance on this new author!!!
Loved this book! Jason Gooding has created an engaging and satisfying cross-genre story line. A thriller mixed with suspense and romance is exacting what I was waiting to read. I normally stick to romances but he has peeked my interest in reading so much more, especially from him. This book takes you on a ride and I enjoyed each rise, drop and surprised. Can’t wait to read more!
The action begins on page one. A cop witnesses his partner's killing as they investigate a crime scene. A few years later, his partner's killer has killed again. This time the victim is someone his lover knew. And the now ex-cop, private investigator, is seduced into a vengeful journey. To the last page the action never stops. And the love story has a very unexpected twist. The descriptions setting the scenes are well written and just long enough for a fast-paced story.
I had not been familiar with this author, but will definitely be watching for his next book.
